For people that really valued visability and really good, high seating, this car was perfect. One of the few cars left where one could still see the hood.

I baught an 08 sable back in july of 07 when they were first introduced and I love it. Its a really good car, looks nice, gets pretty good mpg, lots of room and comfort and the price was nice and reasonable.
I really love this car, it is one of the nicest cars I've seen for a while. It may not be the most stylish but it does still look nice, great features & its pratical.
Only downside is I can't buy another new one when I'm ready to trade this one in some day. R.I.P. Mercury.

The boring styling really hurt the car. That said, if you ever drove one, the visability was A-1, and the seating was fantastic; you sat nice and high and could get a good view of the hood. It's too bad it wasn't more appreciated.

It's too damn bad that Ford killed the Sable. Really nice car, hell I'm still driving an old 94 Sable with over 190,000 miles on it.
