I have 11 japanese white pine bonsai tree seeds that I purchased. They have been through a artificial winter (in a fridge with moist sand). After 9 months of that, they had been planted in peat moss. It has been about 2-3 months since I planted them in individual cups under a heat lamp, and I count 8 successful sprouts today. They are pretty small but above soil. But they have yet to grow needles. I have seen a lot of videos of complicating things that people say you HAVE to do. please help me!!

I would like to get into wiring. My trees have been yamadori where I've seen the basic desired shape in the tree in the wild, and so never needed any shape manipulation in this way. Yeah, so I've never wired a tree yet in my [admittedly short] Bonsai career. You have some beautiful shapes in the tree in this video though and it is therefore a good advert for wiring. I'll give it a go.

Thanks for your video. I've read about 40 books in the last few months on bonsai, as well as frequented the many bonsai-related websites & forums out there but it's nice to actually be able to see someone discussing these things -- there is no bonsai club in my area. Hopefully you make another video, with any luck, one showing your wiring technique as well as a discussion of the thought process that goes into your styling choices.
wiring is one of the interesting part in bonsai making... i love wiring..it takes patience..

Interesting. I am just now starting to learn to wire. Would love to see a video with techniques and theories of wiring.
