@TheFreddieFoo - Sadly, from the looks of the bottle, it's neither. Both the Lagavulin 12 year and the 16 year have a kind of bulb shaped neck, but the bottle "Dana" pours from has a standard neck. But if I hadn't seen the bottle, judging just by the color in their glasses, I'd have to say it looks closer to a 16 year. The 12 year is much lighter.

I love Lagavulin, but I got a bottle around Christmas and had everyone in my family try it and this was pretty much the universal reaction.
