If I remember rightly,  Jimmie Vaughan had just broken his leg in London which is why he wasn't on the show. I remember seeing this on TV at the time! I caught the T-Birds at The Marquee a few months later - completely changed my view of how music could be made. What a cool band!!

what an exotic band the t-birds . stuff like this was like your cool white trash guys who were doing all that crazy stuff back in the late 40's and 50' all the way up to the early 60's in them citys, big town, small nite clubs all around the usa.
