Just got my new DEAN DIME BLACK TOOTH AMP! The amp f*cking kills... After playing with this beast like 1h, i already wanted to try and record few clips with the amp...

Signal path: Dean 'Eric Peterson V'(EMG-81) --- Black Tooth --- Shure SM58(couldn't find 57...) --- Line6 UX1. So the signal is super raw, no fancy mic preamps, eq's or anything... Just the amp & the old SM58.

All riffs taken from 'DEAD SHAPE FIGURE : The Disease Of St. Vitus' (OUT IN OCTOBER 2010!!!)

  • Are you using the Blacktooth 20watt combo amp or the towering DIME-100head and Cabniet behind you?!?

  • @MARS13vevo

D100 head and cab for sure!

  • Are you running straight into the amp without any pedals because if you are i am buying one of these amps in the next week. Please let me know..This amp sounds so awesome it`s unreal.

  • @MrAsathaxx

Yep, no pedals! Straight into the amp.

  • Bro you fucking rock! what settings did you put on it to get that killer sound?

  • @ChrisGDVice007

Thanks! My settings are usually like this: presence, treble and bass: 12'o clock. middle and gain: 3'o clock. And maybe just a little bit of reverb... and then you will need a nice sounding guitar with nice pickups :)

  • yeahhh the best demonstration I've seen, I want a D100!!! excelent guitar player!

  • GREAT WALL OF AMPS!

  • @9evilnine9 Agreed

  • @AM3RIKAN1 You are absolutely correct and Steve Vai is the King of the "Guitar Face"

  • @Dimeist Go to the Eminence website if you are considering purchasing some new speakers, you'll be amazed @ the large selection of Patriot (USA voiced) and Red Coat (British voiced) speakers the best thing is they average fron $69.99 to $99.99 with only a few over $100, The Celestian name is legendary but Eminence offers more choice of high watt speakers at a better price, made in USA in Eminence Kentucky.

  • @Dimeist To me it was a no brainer, I already owned a 4x12 cabinet, even though the loose speakers cost the same as the matching loaded cabinet, the Texas Heat/Swamp Thang's are voiced differently and combine to make a sound great for clean or metal and are twice the speakers than the Eminence that come in the D412 cabinet. Personally I prefer Eminence over Celestian, they have a large variety for every sound American or British and cost considerably less than comparable Celestians.

  • @Dimeist I play my D-100 through a vintage 1976 Acoustic 4x12 cab, LOL! it looks funny under the head but it is loaded with 4 Eminence speakers: 2 150W 8ohm Texas Heat and 2 150W 8ohm Swamp Thang, it is brutal. Itossed the idea of loading my cab or getting the matching Dime cab with Eminence speakers. The Dime cab with the head as a combo is $349. The Texas heat/SwampThang speakers are about the same price with no cabinet.
