الحرام والحرم يعني الجدار ويعني بالعيرية الحرام بكسر الحاء وهو اسم احد الشياطين الذي امره سيدنا داود عليه السلام لبناء المسجد الاقصي واما الحرام الذي اقصده هو عكس حلال في المأكل وليس له علاقة بالجريمة

فالحرام في المأكل جاء من العبرية وهو الطريف والحلال في المأكل بالعبرية هو الكوشر أوالكوثر

I am an American who believes in Christ as the last prophet living in the Muslim world. You failed to mention to the people that "Halal" also means the "chicken" was killed under Islamic Rites which means saying a prayer to allah while killing the chicken. Whether it is true or not any person living there who believes in Christ would have a problem with that as I am trying desperately to get away from the "red sticker". No half truths please.
