My country does not have these types of classes because we have never needed them. If anyone is homophobic and shows it then that person will be bullied :)

@Aberrosexualismo fortunately in the civilized western world at least your insane views are in the minority, albeit barely in some places
-
@Chamath5a: Get out of the 1970s. Homosexuality is no longer considered a mental disease.

THE SLUR OF "HOMOPHOBIA" IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE.
''Homophobia'' has never been listed as a disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Rather it is a disrespectful, pejorative, non-scientific, non-medical word invented to attack and incite violence against all who express disagreement with aberrosexualism or biologically aberrant sexual behavior.

THE SLUR OF "HOMOPHOBIA" IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE.
“Homophobe” is a hate-loaded slur used by the partisans of the anti-Life, antisocial Aberrosexualist ideology to unjustly discriminate, stigmatize, demean, hurt and offend everyone who disagrees with their extremist ideology and irrational agenda. This slur is as despicable as any other ethnic, racial or sexist slur. It has no place in civil, respectable public discourse and it should be understood that its use is never acceptable. Never!

@Kii3DA Good on you for trying to make a difference in your school. I do see what you're saying. The thing is though that my experience is that a lot of people will be all, "Prejudice is bad! No more prejudice!" with most victimised groups, but then make an exception to their usual rule for one particular group. That's why prejudice against each group needs to be tackled separately as well in a conversation on overall prejudice.

im also 11 and gay (bisexual actually) but if you think about it those people didn't accept you for who you are but for who they thought you were

&people who come up with bills, pass laws and such, most judge what is right and wrong based on their religious beliefs. Bush was all for a federal ban on gay marriage because he wanted to protect the 'sanctity' of marriage. 'sanctity' means holy, so he wants to protect the religious marriage. then he also states he makes his political choices from the values of his upbringing-that of which was a christian based narrow mindedness. so bush could have vetoed any bill based on his religious views

@Kii3DA the reason that the religious can have what we want and we cant is because for example with prop 8 in california, the latter day saints contributed so much more than we could ever accomplish. that put more broadcasting, more newsletters, fliers, signs out there. unfortunately a good majority of the US is of some religion, so they would rather support people in office to make their decisions who are of some religion, even if it is not theirs.
i really wish we had programs like this in america....

I know. there are hardly any programs that I can find that are based here in America rather than in the UK, where most of them are based
