This is part two, of a multi-part series on how I want to change the world; with potential infrastructure paradigm shifts. I've had good reason to want to identify the most universal term for units of useful work energy, and wanting to introduce a concept of it being the tangible commodity in a new economic system.
First a peer credit goes to maggot432, for providing the word joules, which I really should have known.
Thank you.
Perhaps we'll be buying and selling things in denominations of joules, someday. But if we do, and I have my way, a joule won't be measuring energy primarily in the forms of Watts and BTUs, but in PSI per hour. To get a perspective of my vision for a new energy based green economy, let's zoom out now to consider one aspect, of the energy needs and a solution being proposed for the entire planet.
A "supergrid" is a concept that is being talked about, perhaps even seriously studied, in Europe.
They define it as an electrical grid, running to and from everywhere, dedicated to balancing the outputs of miscellaneous renewable energy resources, to feed into the standard grid, as demanded.
As proposed, it's utter corporate profiteering madness, a complete boondoggle, and I desperately want to nip it in the bud.

The concept relies on covering the planet with photovoltaic cells, and very inefficient windmill concepts that as planned, are an absurdity.
There's about a hundred odd reasons why it will not work as it's been proposed (so far).
That's right ladies and gentlemen; Don Quixote de Kaw is all worked up about windmills!
And I have been for a lot longer than anyone here might believe.
My own concept; A pneumatic supergrid, is a somewhat similar concept to a completely electric one.
Instead of more overhead high tension AC power lines, the energy would be kinetically produced, by a variety of wind, wave, tide and infrared solar, powered air compressors.
The grid of underground pipelines are themselves the means of energy storage that the world of PHDs have been grousing "doesn't exist".
This distributed energy form, is to be provided, bartered and traded with, and used as seen fit, by whomever is plumbed in, Locally, and globally.
That's right! All of that hot air will finally be worth something.
Owning property is not something in our society that in my opinion, should go away.
With the collapse or even further degradation of a debt based monetary system, only the rich can end up being property owners, because what properties produce more of than anything now, are bills!
To salvage that part of the dream, for normal people, properties have to become proactive participants in the economy.
I don't mean the stupid old real estate economic model, of trying to goose a nearly fake value, by adding gold plated faucets or a new kitchen.
But with windmills, solar cells, infrared collectors, gray water systems, passive heating and cooling systems, and more.
If a community pools its joules together, that could literally become like money in the bank.
Here in the windy plains and hills of Kansas, we have a corporation commission.
They hold all the cards when it comes to traditional energy.
They have proven very unwilling to let consumers partake in the production of energy, thus effectively blockading a green economy here.
So far.
Unless you are very fortunate, you are likely to be plagued with a similar sliver spoon and stuffed shirt set where you live.
A community does not have to put up with these robber barons if they don't want to.
This paradigm works on any scale.
Now I've just given the entire world, my life's fortune, simple as it is, in hard earned, pragmatic knowledge, through you few.
Please, if you find this information of value, copy and burn these videos, just in case.
Let me explain why.
I want you all to keep in mind that though this is my own vision, I find it hard to believe that I've figure this stuff out, yet no one else on the whole planet has?
No.
I suspect that I am behind someone else, maybe by several times, and that THEY, have already been suppressed.
Otherwise, why isn't it already under way somewhere?
Please share these videos with anyone smart enough to rip them to shreds.
I mean that!
It's time for the rubber to meet the road.
I want some people in here who will judge the ideas on their own merits, point out errors, suggest improvements, and we can make modifications to the plan, as we go.
I am truly sure that this is the way to go.
Now in the coming videos, I will further share my explorations of what has been to me, an astoundingly obvious plan. And in a parallel series, I'll give some educated guesses as to how, who, and why this answer, the right answer, has never seen the light of day, until now.

  • Good Videos. Interesting food for thought. Few points I would address differently but none the less it is good to hear people using there brains and free thought. Your video on Cages sums it up very well. Its too bad videos like this get a couple thousand view when videos that literally drain your mental capabilities get almost a Billion views. That is your problem in a nutshell.

  • @Deerslayer2k9 Oh I would dearly love a couple of thousand views.

I might get more pure gold-make my day comments like this one.

    THANK YOU!

The issue, and my mind, are not closed.

Feel free to expand on any variations, that you would prefer to see.

There are more videos. You could watch the PJ series on my channel.

Or skip through the Conceiving A Panacea series, for related subjects.

  • Okay, you've obviously been reading Marx, or you've been listening to Marxoids.

  • @gunsandbullhorns As I explained here ( for observers);

    watch?v=Fqlssc8ejyc

I know nothing about communism, at least not intentionally.

Please, you are on a roll, don't ease up. Be as critical as you are able, I want you to. If the idea cannot evolve/survive here, it's not worth the investment I've already made.

55ella's brilliant comment below these, has the gist of my intention.

  • @DonQuixotedeKaw

Hmmm... Good point. I should be reading the comments as well.

Alright, cool. I'll be as critical as possible. Just give me some time to watch the videos, and read the comments. I promise I'll pick your system apart to the best of my ability.

  • @gunsandbullhorns Excellent!

    I SEE DonQuixotedeKaw Vision.

Make the storage of solar & wind profitable as compressed air silohs.

Joe Shmoe from Kokomo has a ethanol farm.

From Nov 1st-April 1st the winter months.

Joe deploys Voltaic arrays across vast acres in winter

Just like silohs of grain, Joe has silohs of compressed air accessed by truck, pipeline or converted to electricity and pushed to grid.

  • I'm all over this distributed production idea. And I will add, distributed storage. Each new home built should not only be designed to conserve, but to produce and store energy.

Here is a discouraging article but we need to think about it anyway. I found it at TheOilDrum: Real-world tests of small wind turbines in Netherlands and the UK.

  • @55ella2007k I don't think anyone or anything needs dislodging. When the house of cards falls, the political gangsters, mega church con artists and bankers will be running for their lives. I can't care about them anymore. I want to be busy helping communities that won't die immediately of shock, and loss of petroleum, to pick up the pieces and re-learn how to survive. The harshest doomers say next year, I give it 5 to10 years.

  • Since our economies are based on short term profits, none of this will make sense to the major political players, who control the economy, until it is too late. Therefore, it is crucial to build local community infrastructures, a daunting task, but not un-achievable. De-Centralization is key to survival for local communities, but the onslaught of globalization, which favors the lowest common denominators in terms of basic human survival is something to contend with + will not be easy to dislodge
