Skullcrusher Mountain: The Musical

I love Jonathan Coulton, and I really enjoy coming up with arrangements for his songs on piano. It just seems that, perhaps because of my background and training, they all come out sounding like they're from some Broadway show. Skullcrusher Mountain worked particularly well. One can almost imagine it as the opening scene, as "the girl" is dragged in by Scarface and greeted by the singing Mad Scientist.

It got particularly ridiculous on this one, especially on the last go-through of the chorus. :)

In my head, there's a flashback sequence later in the musical where we see the same Mad Scientist singing "The Future Soon."

Nice rendition! Funny that I'm not the only one who thinks "The Future Soon" and "Skullcrusher Mountain" feel like two chapters of the same story.

I think a "Skullcrusher Mountain" musical would be hilarious.

Dude, you have to use the D7add9 chord at the end of the chorus. That's where all the flavor is.
