Fuck. I got stuck in exactly the same situation. Now I went to a bike shop and when I got back the tyre was slowly deflating so I'm gonna have to do it again on my own. Cheers for this. It's just crazy how hard it is to just replace a fucking air tube.

I fit these tyres all the time with none of this other mucking around.Don't even have to use levers.

afte trying overly hard to fit a set of conti mountain bike tyres with very stiff beads, bending tyre wrenches ect i came upon this vid. very helpful and thanks you for posting.

I don´t need straps for mounting those tyres. Just hands and that´s it.
