For intercooler get a 2nd hand GTi-R one, you'll need the one end tank and pipe attatchment rotated by an engineer then custom pipework to connect it up. 12psi is fine, if you replace the cone get a box, cone without a box is useless, just sucks in hot air.

cheers mate, I sold this car a long time ago though, but yes it was a bit quick, 12.8 @ 114mph 1/4 mile and that wasn't at full power, 331 bhp, 296 lb/ft, 1050kg plus a 50 bhp shot of nitrous on top of that. Mongoose is 2.5" not 3", tailpipe is 3", bore 2.5, was a mongoose I had de-cat and cat back, custom front pipe from the same place that did the custom intercooler piping.

depends on spec at the moment mate. If standard. Cone and cold air box (NEED the box) , 2.5" dia Exhaust from turbo back inc turbo elbow, Manual boost controller set to 12psi (no more than 12.5 for certain safety) bigger front brake conversion from ZT180/620Ti , uprated suspension, that should see you good to start with and make the car a quicker braking, acceleration and cornering. After that lot a front mounted intercooler and T28 turbo from a GTi-R next, after that it gets expensive

hi i have just bought a 220turbo and wondering if you could advise me on what are the best mods for the car ?cheers shaun
-
2.0 turbo with "a few" mods, only the straight after the second "fade" in the video was flat out, rest was half throttle, and at that the flat out bit had the wheels slipping, I forget what the spec and power was at this point in the cars life, it wasn't at full power anyway, before I sold it it was at 330 bhp (380 with gas) and 1050kg

what litre. 1.6? 1.8? 2.0 turbo?

The suspension will look much stiffer than it would feel like in real life on the camera.
Sounds nice and healthy :D
