Tesla coil - Spaced Toroids

Here's a clip of my tiny rotary gap coil with two 2x8 spun aluminum toroids. They are spaced with a 3" O.D., 4" tall piece of acrylic tubing. They are electrically isolated, but a power arc forms and joins them. This coil isn't done, and it wasn't meant to be like this, but I kept this video of me tinkering with it this way.
