I wanted to comment on the brilliance of the opening sequence of this episode: the wry commentary on marriage, commentary on the "great divide" between men & women, and finally the sequence of them actually trying to all converse together and breaking up into two groups anyway: The direction is wonderful, the overlapping dialogue is just brilliant. Great stuff on a network TV series.
Well A&F, in its original incarnation, was kinda like a cross between Eddie Bauer, L.L. Bean & Cabela's. You went there if you were suiting up to go on safari, with khakis, pith helmets, elephant guns, etc. Today's A&F bears no resemblance to the original.
