  • MAybe you don't remember how often venetian people in Constantinople were murdered and their blongings stolen by the bizantines only to get Genua as their ally... for example in 1172 10.000 venetians were killed couse Manuele Comneno didn t want to recognise the crisobolla of 1082 and 1126, not bad isn t? Alessio II wanted the massacre of latin people in 1181. They had it coming.

  • Music sucks.

  • Yes, you're right, it's a mute conversation. Besides Istanbul is not even Christian. Who will appreciate them there? Just look at St. Sophia today. Anyway, greetings and good luck.

  • francyube: What about what? We're not talking 'if'. We're talking about what actually happened. And the crusaders slaughtered TONS of Muslims, i.e. the sacking of Jerusalem in 1099. The blood was running ankle deep in the streets according to chroniclers. Saladdin, on the other hand, DID NOT TOUCH A SINGLE CHRISTIAN HAIR when he retook the city. In the New World Catholic Spaniards and Portuguese committed untold crimes and in Europe science and free thinking suffered under the Inquisition.

  • francyube: Perhaps, but no one else pillaged, raped and destroyed Christian cities like the Venetians and their allies did at Zara in 1202 and Constantinople in 1204. Retribution takes time.

  • viva l'italia!!!!!!!!!

  • francyyube: the comment you made is so fucked up that it is beyond arguing. lol.

  • Yes, beautiful indeed but some of it is STOLEN. The bronze horses, for example, were decorating the Hippodrome in Constantinople from where they were removed during the orgy of pillaging and destruction that followed the taking of the City in 1204.

  • che bella arte!

    what beautiful art.

  • La chiesa dovrebbe essere un luogo di culto e preghiera piu' caldo e accogliente!
