  • when pyruvate is split into carbon dioxide and the two carbon molecule, it must be oxidized by NAD+ before it can be attached to CoA

  • acetly CoA doesn't transport the pyruvate in the mito. it transports it to the whole thing then is released

  • But how many molecules of glucose are converted into Pyruvic acid? Is it always the same number?
