All tamyia connectors suck.Even if it woud be large type i would change it to deans or xt60 connector...

i love it, where can i find something like this. im a big fan of the sir style rail systems and i have one on my dboys m4. but a long on on an m16 is freaking amazing looking.

do some research, no one gun is better than the next at this level, it all depends on your play style and what you plan on using it for.

A few of my friends have STAR armalites. compared to my classic army MP5 they rise way above CA.

Is this CA quality? CA M4 + STAR SIR-M kit = the gun or is it better than a Classic Army? Gearbox version? ARES is basicly STAR now so any help would be great. Thanks

unfortunately not....star has pretty much been ended. I REALLY want a Star M16 RIS.

It comes with it. The orange one is a crappy plastic but the black one is metal.

Hey nice review. But I was wondering if the STAR is able to accept Marui style stocks? I have a TM M16 stock and would like to put it on a STAR M4. Thanks.

If you are putting on a full stock then you need to get a STAR manufactured stock or just buy a TM compatible lower, or you might get buy with heavy modification to the stock.

Aw man that kinda sucks. But one more thing.. have you opened the gearbox up? Does it use standard V2 trigger contacts/switch assembly? I remember working on my friend's STAR SL-9 and it had a completely different switch assembly compared to other V3 gearboxes.

When we put the parts in I didn't take a look at the trigger but there is really no telling. You might just have to learn by trial and error
