i love the noise. maybe its mounting so close to the roof that makes the sound amplified. just my 2 cents..
nice one.

Nice work. But a little bit loud.
Now you have various voltage there. What are you running with that now? I am running with solar Panels a huge 12V -battery which gives then light in the dark.
Can you somehow synchronize the output of energy and get it into the grid? -For using the energy all over your house

Very nice, obviously a low speed turbine. Maybe a tower even 20-30 foot higher would increase your output significantly. What are you charging?

very nice 150 volts wow well done
-
how do you stop it if it gets out of control ? maybe could have left the brake set up on the other side ? Just curious - with out a doubt the coolest wind mill I have and most likely ever will see

What are you using to generate the power what kind of generator or did you build one??

That differential reminds me of one i had on an old Austin i had!,it kept going for yrs, gearing works well enough on your turbine free stuff is best i agree.

I love the cables/pullys> bigtail, like a whip

Great accomplishment with simple means, do you power heaters from it?,I see you use a chain/ cog gearing , i am just finishing a 230v using 10:1 same system and a 1200w alternator, see how it goes!.
Hi draco. I was using a 7.5 KW - 120/250 volt generator. No break on it, (mega mistake)
But I had a mechanism to bring the prop 90 deg to the side, the tail stayed in the wind, but we had 120 MPH winds, and snapped the tower rack at the cement base. You are on the right track with front wheel hub, but you will be only playing with small 12 volts I detect maby?Mine was so scarry in that wind. but the blades withstood the storm, but not the tower. Brace every thing you do well. Good luck bud.
