  • i would like to know how to make cornbread or muffins? do you have any tips....i cannot get it to cook all the way through so far. Help!

  • @denisedavis1 I have never actually baked in it yet...so Im not sure whats wrong, sorry I am no help

  • Looks yummy. I'm not a big fan of basting with a brush, I worry about germs. I use a fresh sprig of Rosemary, then pluck the leaves off and leave it on the chicken.

  • great idea thanks!!!!

  • How long have you had your NuWave for? Do you use it everyday? I'm trying to get a feel for its durability and longevity before purchasing. Thanks for the videos!

  • I have had it since December, I use it almost everyday, I believe I totally got my moneys worth no doubt....you wont be disappointed.

  • @meowmmmmm Cornish hens are adult chickens, they are just a smaller breed of chicken than others. LOL

  • I heard that after a while, the plastic dome begins to crack. Is this true? This is my only real worry and hesitation in getting it. Unfortunately, most of these "Review" videos are from people who just bought it.

  • Thumbs up if the dog barking at 3:05 scared you.

  • @ 3;02, that hen she is basting looks like a devil's head !

  • How do you get giblets out of a frozen chicken? Where did you get your oven? I would like to get one. There's also the Nuvave PRO which is probably more expensive, but I really just want a simple unit. Thanks.

  • How is a low carb diet halping you when you put so much butter on your foods. carbohydrates have 4 calories per gram. So do proteins. Fats have 6 calories per gram. So making fatty meat isnt better than no carbs. A cornisch hen is 200g? more? deduct 100 for bones. 100g. 80g meat 320 calories. 20g fat 120calories. 440 calories at a low estimate and there are 2 of you and 3 hens. How can you expect to lose weight? seriously?

  • @denisedavis1 To bake: 1) Use silicone molds if possible. 2) Use a 1" height (or the 2" riser if you have the extender kit) 3) use a foil shield if you feel the tops are already brown the way you want them done and then double the time to get the bottoms done.

The higher the food, the quicker it will brown. The more surface area open to the air, the more evenly it will cook. The infrared DOES cook the interiors of the food, BUT it does not provide the crispness of the convection process.

  • Have you baked any with it by now? My dog didn't like your dog. Ha! Ha!

  • Shes hot!

  • nice presentation.. since you got this did you see any defference in your light bill? thanks..
