Australia's King of Ragtime - John Gill & John Petters filmed in concert in Harlow, Essex, UK on 26th July 2007. I last worked with John in 1984 before he left for OZ. This is Jelly Roll Morton's Fingerbreaker. John takes it at quite a pace and as is typical of a live session, there are a couple of points where we almost part company -- but it does demonstrate John's facility for interpreting the early piano styles.
