Lenovo idepad S10 2gig ram 160 hard drive.
Just a short video showing that i am running ubuntu 8.10 LIVE USB.
I did not install any drivers for the video.
wireless card was detected already all i did was select a network
wireless LED light was working as well as the hotkey to turn on and off
Sound was already detected nothing installed
When i inserted a SD card it auto mounts it to the desktop
was able to run under full visual effects under "extra" no problems
Does another Distro like Fedora run on this netbook? ...ty.

netbooks only have 1 SO-DIMM slot by design, and 512mb of fixed speed onboard memory, therefore you can only install a 2 gig SO-DIMM. And the maximum amount supported should ither be 2 or 2.5 gb for all netbooks, even if they state 1.5gb is maximum supported.
