The mission accomplished that John was referring to was that Bush was actually able to persuade congress and other countries to go and fight for oil without actually having to say it. Indeed this was a victory for them... But a sad day for America.

Some massive victory.... Americans need to hang all republicans by their testicles. There is the blood of millions of innocents on their hands.

Do my homework? What the hell are you talking about?
State facts, dittohead.
Pravda told lies for the state. Just because the truth rarely is own your side doesn't mean you should bad mouth those who tell it.
Most people from outside the US watch American news and find it to be conservative.
-
Tass and Pravda were to the USSR what major network new is in the US to the liberals.
Strong opinion from someone so biased and ill informed
Do your homework.

Don't argue with them--they don't want to be educated it would confuse their twisted understanding of the world.

numb nuts you obviously have no military experience.
A conflict can be broken into several MISSIONS. D-Day was a Mission called "Overlord" It was a success, but the war was not over. Get it!
His mistake was that he should have seen the misuse of the information coming from the pinheads.
He should have dumbed it down for idiots like you.
Mission accomplished means just that--sever the head and castrate the army.
The next mission was to secure the country. That was is still progressing.

Coming home safely from their missions? The carrier was just off the coast of San Diego, how were they coming back from Iraq. Also, if you want to lay cards on the table, I was in the Canadian Army for three years and we don't let our politicians hide behind us.
The media doesn't hate Bush, he just keeps fucking up.

I was in the navy for seven years. The banner on the aircraft carrier was for pilots coming safely home from their specific missions of that day. it's routine to hang such banners as a moral booster, and pride in what you just accomplished. It was twisted around by an uneducated media full of Bush haters.
-
The banner was supposed to give a sense of finality to the war. It meant victory. You can no more win an occupation than you can win a rash. You're arguing semantics.
Yeah, major combat operations ended in 2003, I guess that thing in Basra last month was just a skirmish. Moron.

The victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won, whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterwards looks for victory.
