Excellent singing all the way around. Castronovo is an exceptionally good young tenor. The voice is easily produced, without a hint of strain, and is remarkably consistent up and down the scale. The top is perfectly in line with the rest of the voice. He is, in a word, a real lyric tenor for a change, as opposed to the string of Bb baritones we have been treated to over the last 30 years. This is going to be a major career indeed.

L'elisir d'amore è un melodramma gioioso ed in questa interpretazione trovo due voci"forti"per un duetto che dovrebbe essere etereo si brioso ma ascoltandolo
ad occhi chiusi"troppo forte"toglie dolcezza e sogno....
