@bondservant4jesus God hates the sin, not the sinner. he love us very much. He is love! Says so in the Bible. This song tells us that God isn't at our level, but he still loves us very much. He's not a human so we shouldn't think of him as one. Jesus was fully human and fully God, but that's the only point in the history of time, when we could say he was a just a man. God is God, and we well never really know these things while we are still here, so no point fighting about it.

WHO IS AFTER PAT ROBINSON? Is he from the future?! What is that suppost to mean?! D: haha.
-
@bondservant4jesus Completely agree! I'm glad someone else finally understands that "God loves the sinner but hates the sin" is very unbiblical
-
haha, I don't think God is in the business of turning vegetables into candy, but hey "the things that are impossible with man are possible with God" :-)

@yosoypriscella Yes, we have nothing to give, our good works are as filthy rags, that's why there needed to be a sacrifice to satisfy God's judgment. Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, without sin, was the only one who could do that.
-
@yosoypriscella Yes it's true I am sinner, but through Christ's sacrifice only way I can go to Heaven is through Jesus sacrifice. You can't merely say it's gonna be okay, because God loves you. That is false. His wrath is upon those who have not received His sacrifice through repentance and faith. God doesn't just go okay your a sinner, but I love you anyway, because I am love. That's not the way it works. It's specifically Agape love, known as divine love, self sacrificing love.

@AlexanderAnarchist If He does not exist, why are you against him. That's crazy. If He really don't exist no need to say anything.

Also, consider the fruit of the Spirit: Gal. 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
God is love and the Christian is to show Love.... But first... you must love Jesus. (From Carm website)

Matt. 22:37-40, "And He said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38 "This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 "The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

Although love is an invisible entity, its fruits are clearly seen. If we truly love the Lord, we will show this by obeying His Word. "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15).
His commandments are not burdensome, but are the very nature of love itself. Consider the greatest of the commandments.

@bunyen23 Methinks you need to read that list again, because He describes two types of people that He hates in it. Verse nineteen (Proverbs 6:16-19; I'm quoting from the NKJV) - "A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren."
Also, Psalms 5:5-6 (NKJV again):
5 The boastful shall not stand in Your sight;
You hate all workers of iniquity.
6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood;
The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
