A little rant over a text saying subjective relativism is totally wrong, an i quote " a road block to critical thinking".

Also, yeah I totally disagree with ethics and philosophy in schools and colleges, it just seems to be the teacher pushing their views onto the students that can't possible retort.

Sorry for being a douche and posting off topic.

But I'm doing a dissertation on dictators, that means I'll be doing a good few thousand words on Hitler. I was wondering if you could help highlight what effect Nietzsche had on Hitler. It seems obvious that the misconstrued it but I'm still wondering how/what/why.

It might help if you clearly stated the argument that the book gave in opposition to subjective relativism.  How exactly is it self defeating? Maybe it is a bad argument, but you never even mention HOW it's a bad argument. Does the conclusion not follow from the premises? Are the premises false? As it is, the points you make are unclear, and most of them can be reduced to ad hominem attacks.

Ofcourse the educational system will never be any good until one of "us" gets to change it. Secondly, all these stuff are a product of the limitless human mind and the alleged democracy that we all enjoy... yes it may be confusing but it's probably the best way to do this up to now...

well, what if the book was partially made to make you question it. you know, to make you develop your own way of thinking about it. could it be they want you to develop your own theories about it, make you question it, and cause some sort of inner thinking about what you believe, compared to what the author(s) may believe.
