This is a film which shows the disparity between the haves and have-nots of India with the IPL matches as its basic theme. The slum-dwellings with a 'patta' bat , red rubber ball and Pepsi crate as wickets. On the other hand, in the real IPL, each of the eight teams has been bought for franchisee fees of more than 300 crore each and players being paid about 10crores in total for each team. Contrast this to the daily wage earner or a peon, lift-man, security guard, etc., earning roughly a meager Rs.3,000 a month. Various sequences are used to showcase this disparity.
