Fur-Life Seattle Alki Romp - Furry fun on the beach

Highlights from the Fur-Life Alki Romp at Alki Beach in West Seattle on June 7, 2008.

A record-breaking 66 Seattle-area furries attended this event, which included many beach-friendly props to keep everyone entertained including huge inflatable dome balls that you roll around inside, Twister game boards, frisbees, huge beach volleyballs and furry bits galore.

A trio of fox fursuits made an appearance at the meet - Scout, Michael J. Fox and sircrimsonfox - and they had loads of fun interacting with members of the group, and the multitude of kids and families visiting the beach that afternoon. One special girl, certainly a future fursuiter, celebrated her birthday by trying on ears and a tail and getting piggyback rides from the suiters! ^_^

Anyone know where to find a kitty tail and a good collar at to match my black kitty ears with red fuzz ? allso you fur are lucky i dont know any local furs but me 3=

If you don't want to get one commissioned, I'd recommend searching the auction sites Furbid and Furbuy (to get the URLs just type those into google) but they always have a bunch of tails and some collars for sale that might match what you're looking for. A lot of builders also take commissions off those sites and then they'll make one especially for you. Good luck!

What is far past the point is disturbing are your horrid inaccuracies of the fandom. Everyone in our group fursuits because we enjoy being "in character," and brightening the lives of others. There's nothing more rewarding than bringing a smile to a child's face or making a family's day. It has nothing to do with "sexual kink" or pedo and to even suggest that is just disturbing and malicious. The media has warped people's minds of what furry is all about, and that is most unfortunate.

Sixty six furs at this meet, wow! I think here our state furry group has about that many members total, but you usually get somewhere between six to twelve furs per meet. And only four or five of us have suits.
