Super Metroid - Kraid - Speed kill

Kraid beaten without letting him break through the ceiling. Played in real time on Snes9x v1.43 rerecording.

What you want to do here is hit Kraid with a super missile while his mouth is about half way open. This will make him freeze for a couple seconds with his mouth open, during which time you can unload three more super missiles into it. If you manage to get in all four hits he'll die without ever breaking through the ceiling.

@YewTo0b Uh, no. There's lots of stuff you have to go out of your way to get, even with a well optimized route.

You can easily get the wave beam without the grappling beam, and you can easily get the ice beam without the speed booster. For wave beam, you just need to wall jump, and for the ice beam, you just have to mockball.
