2011 8-Point Bow Buck Kill-Northern Missouri

Evening of September 17, 2011. Nice 8 point buck. first buck with a bow. The shot might look high but we are high enough in the tree the arrowed angled down and got both lungs. Shot with the PSE Chaos. 45# 22in draw length. shot with muzzy 100 grain.

What kind of arrows are you using? Very nice deer. I just shot my first deer with a bow too but it was real little 6 pointer 125 pounds field dressed

First buck with a bow and its a real beauty Deer, congrats.

It is always a tough call whether to pursue or wait to track it in the morning. Most people have told me that it is better safe than sorry. So, good call on your part.

Sure is a real nice Buck and to get it with a bow is awesome, nice work.

That Pse chaos is a nice bow!!! I just shot my first deer last weekend with a chaos also an 8 pointer and that bow sure shoots!!! I'm a kid too 14 years old and that bow is perfect for me. Great shot and good luck in the future!! I was scared to take a shot past 30 yards but i did and heart shot mine at 47 yards. This may be a youth bow but don't be afraid that it won't preform at longer ranges cause it does. That deer is sure a nice deer too very nice for a first.
