If you have forgotten your password just follow this simple steps(only for windows7)
step 1:open run then write this down regedit.
step 2: click the arrow before HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
step 3:click the arrow before SOFTWARE then click the arrow before BLUE COAT SYSTEM.
step 4:open K9 and delete all its files.
step 5:delete the K9 folder in your LOCAL DISK (C:)
step 6:to delete it go to windows task manager and click the process tab and end the process K9 FILTER.
step 7:reinstall K9

It does NOT work!!! at all!!! it show to be out on the registry editor, but it still block sites and ask you for a password.....
It doesnt work, I deleted it from the regedit and it does not appear anymore but it is still there on the internet blocking websites.

It does work, you need to use the administrators password first and once the registry had been deleted in all aspects its done.

@themachine91090 So you need the K9 password? I do not have that. I am an administrator on my pc though.

Yes, the K9 administrator password. If not, then try and do system restore till a time previous to having K9

@GrassH0pper55 No, it will not be able to block anything once you log in using the administrator password, then delete the cookie and temp files, then delete every single registry file pertaining to k9.
