The intent of this video was to provide the intended audience, in this case parents and individual's whose internet experience is being put to a halt by the program, a method of removing the said software from your computers. The program is good to keep children safe and protected, but for us parents and elders who need to work networking systems and must remove the program, it might be necessary to temporarily or permanently remove the offer. I hope this tutorial offered you insight and assisted you in your endeavors. Peace.

  • It doesnt work, I deleted it from the regedit and it does not appear anymore but it is still there on the internet blocking websites.

  • It does work, you need to use the administrators password first and once the registry had been deleted in all aspects its done.

  • @themachine91090 So you need the K9 password? I do not have that. I am an administrator on my pc though.

  • Yes, the K9 administrator password. If not, then try and do system restore till a time previous to having K9

  • @JcmuzzlesBackup

for it still blocking stuff see my vid on how to disable k9 web filter blocking

  • @GrassH0pper55 No, it will not be able to block anything once you log in using the administrator password, then delete the cookie and temp files, then delete every single registry file pertaining to k9.
