a tribute to those who didn't make it. Even though they might not have achieved their biggest goal, the learned so much more and achieved so much more than simply making it to the olympics could have given them. I know the olympics is a really big deal, but what about all the other aspects of gymnastics? Featuring:

Hollie Vise: 2003 2 time world champion, full scholarship to University of Oklahoma

Vanessa Atler: 1996 junior all-around National Champion, the 1997 senior all-around National Champion and the 1998 Goodwill Games gold medalist on the floor exercise and vault. At the 1999 American Cup, became the first first female American gymnast to successfully perform a Rudi vault.

Tasha Schwikert (even though she was an alternate that competed in 2000 i still put her in there because she didn't make the team in 2004, she was again the alternate and this time she didn't get to compete): a World Gymnastics Championships team gold medalist, 2001 Ghent World Championship bronze medalist, 2001 Gold medalist Pan Am Games and US nationals,2002 Gold medalist at Pacific Alliance, American Cup, and US nationals, full scholarship to UCLA,and the 2004 and 2005 NCAA all-around national champion, 2005 All American on all 4 events, a commentator of WCSN

All of the Parkettes Girls: too many awards to type up

Tabitha Yim: 2001 Silver Medalist at US Nationals, 2001 Bronze team medalist at Ghent World Championships, 2002 silver medalist at US nationals, 4th place at Olympic Trials, an extremely skilled figure skater (what the heck? thats amazing!), musician, full ride to Stanford (where she competes today)

  • why tabitha did't compete olympic?

She definitely had a chance to compete(4th place.)

  • mostly injuries kept her out for a lot of 2004 and I don't think they really thought she was ready i guess

  • Tasha Schwikert (spell check) may have missed the 2004 olympics but atleast she made the 2000 Olympic team. Im still proud of all of them tho. Great montage!

  • she was actually an alternate. but she's definetely one of my favorites

  • Tabitha suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon between the Olympic Trials and the final Olympic selection camp. That's why she didn't make it to the Olympics.

  • She was originally picked as an alternate, but with the injury of Morgan White, Tasha was moved to the roster and DID compete in the Olympics in 2000 in Team Finals (and actually out performed a few vets on the US team on beam and Bars!!)

  • This montage is great the music fits well!!!!!<3

  • Great job!!! I know how she feels!!! :(

  • Very nice!
