Does Alcatraz follow Lost and Fringe as another JJ Abrams-produced genre hit?

The newest show from Bad Robot and producer JJ Abrams has just debuted, and Alex, Dan, and Jeff have thoughts on the pilot. Set on the famous "rock" in San Francisco, Alcatraz tells the story of the final inmates to the prison reappearing years after their mysterious disappearance. Are the TRS guys hooked on this supernatural procedural?

I feel like after a while of the same routine (catching inmate after inmate) this show might get a little stale. I am glad to see J. J. Abrams get back out there after Lost... I have long anticipated something new from him. Hopefully this show takes a turn for the better.
