I've been an avid reader of Nietzsche for nearly 20 years, Foucault for over a decade... I have just started reading Georges Bataille... I must say that his name and his theory belong right up there with such names. Inner Experience and On Nietzsche are so genius it is maddening. There is something about his text that communicates beyond and outside of the text, despite the lack of self-presence in text. It communicates, at the very least, that this mofo knew wtf he was writing about.

This is an excellent video! I loved the entire interview, as I am a writer myself and I just kept smiling throughout the entire thing as I related to every word Georges said. I couldn't have said it better.

He means evil in general - no restriction to either religious definitions or sexual related

No,he means evil in an almost purely religious - or in his terminology, "sacred" sense. His thinking goes well beyond any conventional framework of meaning, however. I think you have to approach him on his own terms, there is really no other way into his thinking than reading the books. It isn't really like anything but itself.
