Brevard goes Cross Country

I took Brevard on a "field trip" to a local cross country course with some friends to try something different and have some fun. As many of you know, my discipline of choice is dressage. I don't do a lot of jumping... only now and then for fun. No need for criticism, thanks!!!

Hi, thank you!!! Brevard is a Clyde cross (Clydesdale x Dutch Warmblood) We had so much fun!!! Can't wait to go again! :)

when he was going over the creeks (or at least i hope they were creeks) you did amazing! i've only jumped a creekthree times, and the second time i got unseated and hit a tree and fell off! (the horse turned the way the path went, i didn't )"objects in motion want to stay in motion and don't want to change direction easily!" haha i had a good example for that in science class. you two look really good!

oh, the ditches... I wasn't really sure if Brevard would jump over the first time or just try to plod through... especially since we were walking to it. The second time he acted like an old pro! Thank you!! I can't wait for nice weather to go again! We had so much fun.

YOU GO GIRL!!! You both looked terrific....hey, you may want to try some schooling horse trials...I bet you would have a blast. You both looked relaxed, and as always, Brevard looked amazing!!!!!! The dressage really provides a nice foundation for any discipline, doesn't it?

Thank you! We had so much fun! I look forward to going again. And yes, I agree.... Brevard has come such a long way with the dressage training. Without it, we'd be a runaway train! ha ha!
