Toffler's 'future shock' principle is also a good fit to to my own UFO/paranormal investigations. Another fitting principle came from Arthur C Clarke: "any sufficiently advanced technology will appear indistinguishable from magic". In other words, how can anybody profess to have found evidence for magic, when they have really only found evidence for their own ignorance?
