Biography:

Patricia Anne "Pattie" Boyd (born 17 March 1944) is an English model
and photographer who is best known as the wife of first George Harrison
and then Eric Clapton. She served as inspiration for several monumental
rock love songs written by both musicians.

Born in Taunton, Somerset, Boyd was a model during the 1960s. She was
known to frequent trendy clubs as well as the company of the
era-defining designers Mary Quant and Ossie Clark. She was photographed
by popular fashion photographers of the day, such as David Bailey and
Terence Donovan, and appeared on covers of magazines, including the UK
and Italian editions of Vogue. After she became the girlfriend of
Harrison, her stature increased as she was asked by Gloria Stavers to
write a regular column for 16 Magazine.

After their meeting on the set of A Hard Day's Night, Boyd married
George Harrison on January 21, 1966, in the midst of the heyday of his
group, The Beatles. Harrison's friend Eric Clapton, first of The
Yardbirds, then of Cream, also fell in love with her. Pattie went on to
divorce Harrison on June 9, 1977, and later married Clapton on March 27,
1979. She and Clapton divorced in June 1988. Pattie speaks with Shadoe
from London.

  • @RaymondFRevalee Clapton didn't let his son drop to death! He wasn't even there when it happened. It was the mother's falt. She left the son for a couple minutes and he fell out of a window the janitor had left open! And about making a hit song about his son's death, well what else do you do when your a musican. You write songs! Maybe you should get your facts staightened out before you start hating someone

  • I just finished Clapton's autobio and the nanny was playing hide and seek with Conor and the little boy ran towards the window which was left open by the janitor and just kept running. It was an accident, Period. A horrible accident.

  • @xGuitarMelodiesx You've got it almost right: the 4 years old son was with the babysitter at the time he fell thru the window. My son was the same age at that time, and it broke my heart. I saw Eric the first time he sang the song you mentioned, he was so emotionally involved in singing, it was really tears jerking. Whom ever you responded to, tell him/her to go to hell for me. Thanks!

  • ooo ya and patti boyd was the inspiration for georges song Something and Claptons Wonderfull tonight and Layala. love triangle that inspired emotions that created some of The Greatest songs

  • That's stupid, their manger Brian was gay, and he may have had gay friends, but as far as I know all the Beatles loved women only. Patti as a jerk to put up with his cheating. If I was her I would told him, hey Beatle boy, here comes the bat across your lousy head. Cheat on me again jackass! Keep your sluts out our house!

  • @2011lamb George married women to hide his homosexuality; it was not really an accepted lifestyle back then so poor George had to hide in the closet behind a fake lifestyle he projected to the public and his stupid fans.

  • George was a total jerk in regards to fidelity. Patti and Olivia seemed like sweet devoted wives, only Patti got fed up. Olivia toughed it out to the end when he came to his senses before he sadly passed away. George seemed to appreciate beautiful women of all backgrounds. Prior to hooking up with Patti, he briefly dated the late talented and beautiful Estelle Bennet of the Ronnettes. The press stated she was the prettiest member of the group and helped design their cool outfits.

  • @1pupblacky I responded twice, learn to count.Typical dumb George Harrison lemmings The second was an error. You love George ? Being he was gay he might have liked that !

  • @CaptainSpauIding you are freaking me out because i made one comment and you have responded like 6 times. there must be some other channel you can go on a stir up the shit. try REBA. don't mention me. she is a -unt. her fans really love her though and it is fun to argue with them. however --leave me alone. i love george--and so did 2 wives--even though you say his was gay. who cares anyhoo?

  • @1pupblacky George apparently thought his shit didn't stink. Must not have being he was often reported to be the "catcher" and not the pitcher.

  • @jaimeguitar50 < Bitch fat shits

  • @1pupblacky really ? When are they going to release it ?
