If I remember correctly that PA announcer was fired for some sort of sexual misconduct... I remember as I use to impersonate him..."Now batting, number 22, Willlllll Clark." Guy was great... hated it when he left... the next year he was replaced by Sherry Davis... Giants have had a female PA voice ever since.

His name was Jeffery Bonds. He supposedly tried to arrange "dates" with 15 year old girls in 1992, and was fired around the time this video was made.

That was before the bleachers went in. I really loved those bleachers and all the noise they made!

i remember getting mlbpa baseball '94 as an xmas gift one year and discovered that rod beck was in fact the fastest pitcher....he coudl throw 107-108 in the game...

Man! Look at how full that place was! Especially incredible considering this was a regular season game and the Giants weren't very good that year! I only saw the 'Stick full ONCE in person for a Giants game, and that was when they clinched the NL West title in '97 against the Padres! Amazing what baseball was like before the strike in '94!

@TheUltimatePhillyFan - says in the description that it was shot on August 23, 1992...

@BobR1955 nor did it make sense that the Cincinnati Reds were in the West and the St. Louis Cardinals were in the East!

Ah.....I'll always love candlestick. But like all things, they will one day demolish this
beauty.A piece of me will go with it.
Yep! They put Atlanta in the Western Division of the National League. And the Chicago Cubs were in the Eastern Division of the National League, while the Chicago White Sox were in the Western Division of the American League. It all makes perfect sense, right? Yikes!
