Aw cute skip. Reminds me of everything mine wouldn't do. She passed away a couple years ago at the age of ten. Really miss that cranky fat creature.

That's sad to hear... I got him from a great rescue in MA... He is spoiled rotten and looks trained but Ivan follows his own set of rules. Thank you fro the comment.

Both of my Grandparent's Skips do that leg thing. They only do it slippery surfaces such as the laminated floor in the kitchen too so it must be a balance thing or something?

My schipperke only does that thing with his leg when he goes up stairs. I wonder why they do that?

he doesn't have a bad leg. like someone asked. he was skipping. ours does the same thing . what dog can do that. ONLY a SKIPPER. they are so cute and personal you have to have one or more to understand a skipper. your's seem spoiled and very loving. like they all are. thanks 4 the video .

Awe. He's so cute. =) I have a Schipperke too. He's 11 and still kicking! ha. They never shy away from the puppy within them.

Why doesn't your schipp run with all four paws on the ground? (The rear, right paw is in the air.)

@agatasawicka look on petfinder, or schipperke rescue- DO NOT buy from a pet store, you will only be supporting puppy mills. And make sure you really want a dog that needs a lot of attention and patience, and usually lives a long time! Woof!

lovely dog, brilliant breed. I have one - he is so loving and loyal and soooo playful even at 4 years old. And they look so gorgeous too. Mine ofter skips out walking and I think this is a 'small dog' trait too.
