It is estimated that there are over 50 millions African Americans (not blacks from other places). I am speaking real statistics and not the census foolishness. These black Americans are the result of their ancestors being raped by every European nation and a few othters. Many blacks chose to mix with indians and others. There is NO other country with that kind of African/other mix. Again, hispanics can only claim Spain. We claim Africa, but it is obvious more than Africa is in our genes.

You can't pass for white when you look mostly black. It doesn't work that way.

You're speaking for a very small percentage of people when there are larger populations, usually concentrated in South America, that are more mixed than American blacks. Are there large Japanese communities in the South? Italian? German? Again, Brazil is considered to have the highest degree of mixing in the world.

It's the true! Brazil blacks are influence mostly by folk from Portugal. Afro Latins are influenced by Spanish blood. Both groups tend to talk about how mixed they are. Ironically, the group that is mixed the most hang on to their blackness and are proud to be connected to Africa. We are keenly aware that we have other ethnic blood in us, but we do not try to pass for every group under the sun. Go down to Mississippi and Louisiana and take a good look at the blacks; you tell me!!
