My video review of the Goldtone Baritone Banjolele. (Watch for my flubbed "Gold Heart Locket" riff.)

Cons:
- No Strap connections built in.
- Made in China
- Setup could be better.

I admit, those cons are very knit-picky.

Pros:
- Good price ($449 retail / $329 Elderly.com)
- Great quality parts and wood
- Comes with hard case
- Comes with head wrench
- Overall great value

  • I'll see if I can upload another video of a song shortly. This one is tuned DGBE as opposed to re-entrant. The smaller sizes (soprano and concert) come re-entrant. I've read on Goldtone's website that the Tenor comes DGBE but can be fitted for GCEA (or gCEA).

  • @samsamanthahh Same chords as a Baritone ukulele. I understand that most banjolele's can be fitted for g/GCEA tuning, which is the same as the soprano uke.

  • do you play the banjolele like a ukulele? like is it the same chords???

  • i would love to hear some more playing with this banjolele

  • is standard alike to soprano ?

  • When is the next video with this banjo coming out? I'm curious to hear it at full volume. Does this have re-entrant tuning? Aquila strings?
