Hi nick, i have a problem with my garageband. I go to use certain instruments, but it says "The selected software instrument or apple loop is not installed on your computer. Would you like to download the full set of garageband instruments and apple loops?" Ive tried installing them, but it says that my software is up to date. any hep? thanks

@SouthSideScene15 by looking at the apple support forum it seems like quite a few people have had issues with this. Apparently the best solution is to re-install the loops from the iLife DVD and then run software update after. You have to right-click the iLife installer so you can run the garageband_loops.pkg installer only. I hope this helps, otherwise have a look through the apple support forum for iLife.
