Emmanuel is an orphan of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. In 2008, two Harvard students met him in Rwanda and they decided to help him attend college so that he could study clinical psychology. In April 2009, a group of Harvard students decided to start the Empathy campaign to share Emmanuel's story with the Harvard community and raise money to send him to college. They went door to door to share his story and raise enough money to send Emmanuel to college for two year. This is their story.
