  • My 2000 Taurus SEL w/the Duratec gets ~20 MPG city. High twenties on the highway.

  • That's actually about what I get. I think mine has gone down slightly because it has winter tires right now

  • Friend has a 2004 Mercury Sable GS with 287,000 miles on it. It hasn't had any problems and handles and drives very smoothly. My other friend's 2003 Accord has already had the transmission replaced 3 times. Accord reliable? That's such a joke. They're nothing but overpriced and cheaply built money pits.

  • Nice interior for sure!!

  • i miss my sable she was white with grey leather seats. cracked block and a new tranny

  • all premiums get the DOHC right?

  • Just brought me a 2003 Sable LS Premium in Silver Frost with grey leather its loaded to the max and no column shifter either. i looked my hardest to find a 2000-05 Sable LS without the coulmn shifter. also you can find the GS Model between the years 02-03 without the column shifter but has the console one.

  • Those always start the same weather its cold or warm.

  • sounds like one to me...and the way the rpms jump to 2k before idling down

  • I like the camera location; very clear

  • Beautiful Sable! I actually liked that design along with the Taurus. It was criticized for being too plain, but I thought it was very classy. Great video, thanks for sharing.

  • i wish i had a floor shifter so bad...i hate bench seats and column shifters

  • thats a really good question are isat bout 150k now.

  • My 2001 Taurus has 172,000 & the original sparkplugs & wires. I wonder why they've lasted so long. I've thought about replacing them for the hell of it, but I'm afraid to because I was told by a FORD service tech. that if it ain't broke, don't fix it
