Janet Kuypers reads Brian Looney's Down in the Dirt poem "Escape Artist" @ the Cafe Gallery 2/1/12

On Wednesday February 1st 2012, Janet Kuypers hosted the first open mike night for her regular poetry/performance art open mike should for "the Cafe Gallery" at Gallery Cabaret (2010 North Oakley Ave. in Chicago, one block east of Western Avenue and one block north of Armitage, also right by Milwaukee Ave. and near the Blue line el stop), from 7:00 to 9:00 PM (before the singer/songwriters night, which starts at 9:30 PM). In this video,Kuypers read (from the February 2012 issue of cc&d magazine, which she is the Editor-in-Chief of, as well as founder of, since it stared in 1993) the Bob Johnston cc&d poem "The Seven Deadly Colors: Gray". Then she read (as editor as well) the Down n the Dirt magazine poetry, including Brian Looney's Down in the Dirt poem "Escape Artist". Reading more poetry from cc&d magazine v229, she read Dan Fitzgerald's cc&d poem "Optimist" and Jacob Kreutzer's cc&d poem "the Wisest Man in Oak Park" at the open mike.
