  • The song is great. To the people that keep saying "it's not the same" and "I'm not getting this because it's not Layne": just get over it already will you? They're back, they still sound great, and that's all that matters.

  • I love it, cant wait to hear it. Haters can go back to listening to their emo now, thanks.

  • i love that song as well. its very complicated and an awesome well thot intricate song with great guitar work and harmonies as well as being completely innovative. as are pretty much every aic song. i can't pick a favorite song. i can't even pick out a favortie album. there all just so good.

  • So what's this Soundgarden song that it sounds like bro? I want to campare notes.

  • Gawd! Now I've heard everything

  • it doesn't kick ass. it's a recycled soundgarden riff that doesn't go anywhere.

  • I don't think you'll be disappointed with their new cd. They're evolving, and we just have to accept that. I was in Hawaii when AIC was in their prime and never got to see them because no one tours out there. So when I got back stateside, and Layne passed, I was both saddend and extremely pissed because I was never going to see one of my favorite bands ever play. So this re-formation is huge for me.

  • I hope they have success... I have the Cantrell discs and still listen to them regularly and Dirt is one of my favorite discs of all time.

The tone on this is incredible (and updated) but vocally it's flat, I'm not blaming DuVall's vocals. They just don't grab me, almost like there's no variance through the entire song.

I've been looking forward to hearing this and I've been completely open to it, I'm just hoping he opens up more on the rest of the disc.

  • I always kind of had this hunch that once they started writing new stuff with Will, they would gain the respect of all the haters. This song kicks ass and if you say otherwise, your fuckin lying

  • I like it!

  • meh, "rain when i die" is still my favorite AIC song..

  • of course he wouldent of from what ive seen he comes of as a very modest person
