It looks similar to the rugby MSF clock we used to have here in the UK. It receives a very low frequency time signal MSF from a transmitter and then as you turn it on it sets itself to the right time. Google NPL time

lol, the hands are not switched.
It's a digital clock. If you put it a few hours back, it will automaticly fast forward to the right time.

It's an atomic clock. The hands will adjust by itself.
