Bill Scott was working as a writer for John Sutherland's animation unit at the time, and he didn't like it. He got tired of being a mouthpiece for corporate industrial films, and later said that every time he tried to quit, "they stuffed money in my mouth". Finally, by 1956, he finally left Sutherland for good, returning to UPA to work on their "BOING BOING SHOW" for TV...

yeah.. keep complaining about "big oil". That's like the baby complaining about the big boob and the boobs constant control and manipulation. Go work in the oil patch, earn good money, do something useful, learn something. You might learn that it's the government that makes the most money off oil sales. You also might learn that "big DUMB oil" is often more applicable. The API publishes many good specifications and standards that help save lives & money.
