  • Recent evidence points to this being a collaboration work between Wolfgang and his older sister Nannerl. One of the early concertos has also now been seen as Nannerl's rather than Wolfgang's. Wolfgang greatly admired his sister's compositions and it had been believed all were destroyed. Leopold strongly disapproved of Nannerl composing- one wonders if the other early compositions attributed to Wolfgang were actually Nannerl's (she was 5 years older and they come from her notebook...)

  • @cd1966 Not rejecting what you're saying, but source on that, please. If what you're saying is true, it's very interesting, indeed.

  • Eb is THE key... mozart #39...beethoven #3..never heard any w.a.m. earlier than #25...the historical speculation about this most pleasant piece is very curious. nice post waaay thumbs up.

    Incredible.

  • HE WAS JUST 5 WHEN HE DID HIS FIRST COMPSITION

  • i love Mozart. He was 8 when he did this.amazing :) !!!!!

  • @beethovenlovedmozart ..To me Beethoven showed a lot of incredible dedication for someone who couldnt hear the final result. He wanted everyone else to hear it and that was his driving force.

  • @youarelovedSOmuch ..Everyone puts such an emphasis on the fact Beethoven was deaf. Honestly folks, everyone back then wrote music without hearing it. If you are an experienced trained musician, you dont need to hear it to write it down. The depressing part is that he wasnt able to hear his own music..But he certainly knew what it sounded like.

  • @beethovenlovedmozart

Those last 3 sentences are SO subjective- You can't say that as fact. I for one greatly prefer Beethoven over Mozart, even though I think they are both incredible. Beethoven just speaks to me more- always has. Every 1 is going to interpret and respond to music differently. It's all about how much the composer's music matches our spirit- who we are. There's no "better" composer, because each listener is different. btw, Beethoven wrote most his music while deaf/going deaf.
