More powerline noise, noticed during the mid-morning today, noise is at all hours ... but can vary in what bands it affects. Last night I didn't seem to get it on 20 meters, 14 Mhz. Today I do. The same with 15 meters, 21 Mhz ... and down to 160 meters again, and through 80 and 40 meter bands. That's pretty much everything. I like to use the 20 meter band (mmsn net on 14.300) sometimes during the day. 15 meters is usable at all sorts of times here lately, as is 40 meters (waterway net in the am), and 80 meters at night. I would think that 80 meters would be pretty quiet during the daylight hours, but not around here. Should be S0 or S1 noise level. It should be like 12 Meters ... very quiet, near zero S meter reading. You can definately hear Powerline Noise on 80 meters during the day.
