1979: Gov't & KKK Murder Five Communists

Nov. 3rd, 1979 was the date of the Greensboro Massacre. Five Communist activists were killed by the Klan, under the direction of the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms and Tobacco, and the local Greensboro police.

This is a forgotten episode in the brutal repression of the working class, and those who sought to organize against racism and capitalism.

Well, I don't condone the KKK or any extremist group for using violence to stop one's 1st amendment rights, however.. these were commies... & those commies went to a place where they wanted to get a reaction from the KKK & stir the pot, in a place where they were not community members of. As you see in the video, the commies were taunting the KKK members. KKK members have killed hundreds of blacks & whits over the last 100 + years, and I'm not shocked that this was the outcome. How sad..

I've seen the unedited tape, so...

1) The Klan was there to provoke an incident. 2) The activists were prepared for an incident. 3) The activists clearly attacked the cars first. 4) the Klan producing guns and killing activists was murder. 5) The Klan prepared a little bit better than the activists for this incident (guns > sticks) 6) Local Govt "may" have been involved, but I doubt Feds were.

All in all, its a win/win moment as far as I'm concerned. Both groups are idiots.
