Richard Shireby G0OJF, plays the 1973 Lowrey GAK25H1 Citation theatre console electronic organ. This is from 'Jesus Christ Superstar' by Andrew Lloyd-Webber. The version from which I'm playing is a melody only arrangement, so I am harmonising & adding pedals 'on the fly' so to speak.

  • My folks had one of this model of Lowery when I was in high school. Nice to see one still working good.

    Great playing!

  • Thanks for the comment. I collect Lowrey organs of this era & earlier & have about 20. It's only because I'm an electronics engineer that any are working; they've all come as non-workers off Ebay over the years. This one was 99pence. I've spent quite big money on some. For example the TLOK25S cost around £200 to get playable & there are still things to do. Remember that's just parts cost!
